Letter from the Director:

Welcome, and thank you for stopping by our website to find out more about our camp program. 

For 50 years, my family and I have been devoted to Camp Pocono Ridge and her children.  I say "her" as it is almost as if she is a living member of our own family, just as the many children are who have shared her land with us.  

Camp Pocono Ridge is the type of place that gets into your soul, and becomes a part of who you are, she nurtures, teaches, guides and develops each of us in her own way, and she does it with such modesty, grace and commitment.  To those of us who have experienced her touch, Camp Pocono Ridge is about as perfect as a place can get....for any one, at any age.

Generations have used phrases like..."enter as strangers, leave as friends," "let no one be a stranger here," "a child's wonderland atop the Pennsylvania Mountains,"and "when the journey is as important as the destination," and each has everything to do with how we greet each moment, everyday and every camper.  Our processes, programs, and intentions reflect these phrases by connection, friendship, experience, fun and in the thrill of making a positive impact in the life of a child.  These are the guiding forces and foundations of Camp Pocono Ridge.

We love it, and most importantly, we love to share it.  We invite you to explore our world within the pages of this website and encourage you to feel free to ask questions about who we are, and what we do, as it is our pleasure to continue to do so.
