Registration & Tuition

Hello and thank you for your interest in Camp Pocono Ridge. This section is designed to answer your questions about our registration process.

Registration is easy with two (2) options:

Complete our registration contract (located in your Camp Information Packet or email us for a copy), then keeping a copy for yourself, return the original contract to the winter office along with a $500.00 deposit check for each camper enrolled.

or

Use our secure online registration for immediate credit card purchses through Marty's Camp Store (located bottom left of the home page).  This options allows you to reserve your placement, and receive registration contracts via email.

That's it!  We'll take care of the rest.

About two weeks after processing registration, your new camper will receive a Welcome Pac. Just a little something to say hello and welcome to the family.  Think of it as their first camp package, in reverse. 

Then, shortly thereafter the Parent & Camper Information Packet will arrive.  This packet contains all of the follow-up information and forms you will need to complete your child's enrollment, i.e. Medical forms, which are required before arrival, The Camper Info Sheet that helps us better understand camper expectations and the clothing lists, etc.. which help you better prepare for camp.  All are necessary to complete each camper's registration process.

This information is important to all of us, so although it may seem like a lot of information, take the time to sit down and go over everything, as it's contents will really help you better undersatand our program, and you'll see its really rather simple.  Of course, if you have any questions you can call the camp office for assistance.

When your child arrives at Camp Pocono Ridge, he or she is immediately engaged and immersed into our program.  The disadvantage is that for our new campers, we have not yet had the pleasure of getting to know them as individuals.  That is why the information you supply during the initial registration process and follow-up paperwork is designed to get us that much closer to knowing and serving your child's needs. 
Remember... the more information we have from the start the better we are able to prepare for your child’s arrival.

No child will ever feel lost within our program, as each child is looked upon as an individual within the tapestry we call home, Camp Pocono Ridge!

If we can ever be of any service, please do not hesitate to call.  No question is too silly, redundant or unimportant as your comfort in Camp Pocono Ridge is every bit as important as your child’s comfort.  In fact, we love to talk about Camp Pocono Ridge, and enjoy learning about you, your children and how best to create that wonderfully terrific camp experience for you both.

2008 Tuition Information

(This is to be considered an addendum to the contract registration form).

Our tuition includes: Canteen and all regular camp activities, instruction, nighttime programs.*
Options Include: (below, as available): Trips & Events, Linens & Laundry Service, Transportation & Luggage Service, Horseback Riding, Waterskiing and Golf.
Required: Deposit to child’s personal spending account (see Parent Manual for details and conditions), Camp Clothing/T-shirts (see website Clothing List), and CampMeds Packaging Service (only for children with medication).

2-Week Sessions - $1850.00

                        Session 1: Sunday, June 29, 2008 - Saturday, July 12, 2008

                        Session 2: Sunday, July 13, 2008 - Saturday, July 26, 2008

                        Session 3: Sunday, July 27,2008 - Saturday, August 9, 2008

                        Session 4: Sunday, August 10, 2008 - Saturday, August 23, 2008 - Registration Closed

4-Week Sessions - $3650.00

                        Session July: Sunday, June 29, 2008 - Saturday, July 26, 2008

                        Session M4: Sunday, July 13, 2008 - Saturday, August 9, 2008

                        Session August: Sunday, July 27,2008 - Saturday, August 23, 2008 - Registration Closed

6-Week Sessions - $5450.00

                        Session 6: Sunday, June 29, 2008 - Saturday, August 9, 2008

8-Week Sessions - $7200.00

                        Session Full: Sunday, June 29, 2008 - Saturday, August 23, 2008 - Registration Closed

Discounts:

Sibling Discounts: Less: $50 for each additional child/per 2-wk Session

Legacy Discounts: Less: $50 for each alumni child/per 2-wk Session

 Optional Services (as available): 

Transportation & Luggage Services: Includes roundtrip transportation and luggage services (2 soft duffels only) from any of our 7 bus stop locations, Including Newark Liberty Airport, see website for details.       $75
From JFK/LaGuardia Airports       $100 

Linens & Laundry Services: Includes weekly laundered camp linens (cotton percal sheets only) and weekly laundry services.  Campers may not do laundry, those staying more than 2-weeks – required.       $75/ 2-Week Session - $25/each additional session 

Optional Programs (as available): 

Trips & Events: May include; Off-camp Movie Trips, Bowling, Skating, Amusement Parks, River Tubing, Canoe Trips & Overnights, etc.  Admissions Only.       $200/ 2-Week Session - $50/each additional session 

Horseback Riding: Off-site local stables, basic ring instruction. English Saddle (unless otherwise requested) – 2x per week.       $150/ 2-Week Session - $50/each additional session 

Waterskiing/Wakeboarding: Off-site local, basic instruction – 2x per w. A minimum # of participants required, call for details.       $250/ 2-Week Session - $125/each additional session 

Golf: Local courses, play w/instruction – 2x per week.       $100/ 2-Week Session - $30/ each additional session
